Maryland softball travels to Ann Arbor for a four-game series against No. 22 Michigan

Maryland (eleven-13) will play against No. 22 Michigan (17-4) for a 4-game serial starting Friday.
Coming off winning three of 4 games against the Spartans, Maryland volition look to replicate that same success confronting a much tougher Wolverines squad.
Freshman outfielder Jaeda McFarland was relentless last weekend against Michigan, earning Big 10 Co-Freshman of the week honors. In the series, McFarland went v-12 with one double and two triples and scored 5 runs including the walk-off run to win game iv. She had a full of eight put outs, ii in each game played.
Senior pitcher Jennifer Brann was dynamite on the mound. Brann won ii of her three wins on the flavour against Michigan Country. She had a total of six strikeouts on the weekend and didn't allow any unearned or earned runs in the get-go game she pitched.
Michigan is coming off ii wins, i against Ohio State and the other against Michigan State. Junior pitcher Alex Storako led the Wolverines to victory against Ohio Land 11-0 by recording x strikeouts and simply one walk. Storako also lead Michigan in a half-dozen-1 defeat of Michigan State, recording nine strikeouts and no walks.
In the game confronting Ohio Country, senior brusque cease Natalia Rodriguez was ii-3 with a triple, two sacrifice hits, two RBIs and scored ane run. Senior get-go baseman Lou Allan, freshman infielder Kaylee Rodriguez and senior third baseman Taylor Bump each striking a home run, in a very potent Wolverines lineup.
In the win against Michigan Land, inferior catcher Hannah Carson hit two-three with a double, a RBI and scored ane run. Fifth year senior correct fielder Haley Hoogenraad had a home run, two RBIs and scored two runs for the Wolverines.
This figures to be a loftier scoring series with two prolific offenses. All iv games tin can be streamed on BTN Plus.
